The Manitou Jack dropper post is available in three drop options – 185mm, 160mm, and 80mm – for improved handling when you need it. Available in 30.9 and 31.6mm diameters, the Jack includes a Manitou under bar lever which features a cartridge bearing for smooth, precise operation. To further the smooth operation and setup on the 185mm and 160mm post the included 1.1mm cable with Manitou specific cable head negates the use of the cable clamp, allowing all the cable tension adjustment to be completed on the lever side. 80mm post use a standard derailer cable for its lever side adjustments.

The perfect post

Everything I love about my BikeYoke post in a Manitou package! Knowing I won't have to rebuild my post on riding trips is refreshing. It always works flawlessly. If you're on the fence commit to it and you will never look back. 12/10 would recommend.

Jack 80 mm review

I purchased two posts to use on Specialized Epics ridden mostly on Midwest singletrack. Install and setup was straightforward on both bikes, and did not require any additional effort other than minor adjusts at the release lever. The seat post is a well made and light weight compared to a rigid post.

The lever is a solid unit for a manufacturer provided piece. It has a nice shape with plenty of position adjustment.

After a few rides, I found this to a great component that works well. I does this job reliably with no additional thought. For the type of riding we have in this region, this is an excellent choice.
